A Review of Distributed Architecture for 5G Networks Using Blockchain

In Deebak and Fadi’s paper on integrating blockchain technology into IoT 5G network architecture they outline a — at first glance — robust architecture for providing connection, authentication, and network security built on top of Ethereum’s Smart Contract technology. However, there are some major issues with why this would not be a good idea architecturally. They did mention several significate challenges that need to be addressed if this concept were to be implemented, but it doesn’t address my grievances.
